Всемирная акция "Час Земли" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hg9_5jtuqC0 ), организованная и проводимая во всём мире Всемирным фондом дикой природы, в этом году состоится 23 марта.
Ежегодно в этой акции принимают участие миллионы человек по всему миру. Крупные города, знаменитые люди, известные мировые культурные объекты, многочисленные Мы и Я, которые объединяются в этот день и в этот час вокруг экологических проблем Земли.
В прошлом году к этому событию неофициально присоединился и Луганск (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YLMASCII5Q ).
Официально от Луганской области принимали участие в акции три города: Первомайск, Красный Луч и Лисичанск.
« Хочется, чтобы в этом году данную акцию официально поддержали и в нашем городе. У нас есть ещё целый месяц для того, чтобы сделать её масштабной, красивой и незабываемой. Как театр начинается с вешался, так и решение экологических проблем начинается с таких вот акций. Идеи и пожелания можно размещать под этой записью, но лучше помочь организовать и провести. MS Workgroup Across Two Lans
I (hopefully) have attached a crude drawing of my Network setup, you may have to rotate the pdf to landscape, I couldn't figure out how to make it do that automatically.
Router A: 8-port wired, connected to Internet
The Problem is having Workgroup Computers communicate from Lan A, To Lan B. All computers are assigned to the workgroup "RUBACON", and not currently but soon will all have static ip's.
Goofing around and I stumbled on the one entry on the routing table of Router A (see 50 Cent Headphones attachment), which allows all computers on Lan B to access internet, and their programs (mirc, avast, utorrent, etc.) haven't complained either.
Each individual Lan respectfully communicates within their workgroups, however neither crosses over to the other Lan.
To answer the first obvious fix; SMS Audio By 50 Changing router "B" Cheap Beats by Dre to a switch by disabling DHCP: Not an option, as I would lose a port on the router due to uplink not working on the wan port. I need the 4 ports for four computers.
2nd Obvious Fix; Buy a Switch: Not an option, I'm Poor:( (all my equipment I've collected since I was 16)
BTW, all my cat5e cable connecting this shindig is in wall, (between 3ft.-90ft. runs) I put it in during the homes construction, so if any solutions require re-wiring, we could just throw those out now too.
My guess is maybe I need to set a routing table on Router B?? This is all Latin to me anyhow, if anybody is willing to help, you may have to take it slow.
Ironically, that pile of computers is the reason for this ridiculous Network (The idea was to have my siblings and parents have their own Home theatre PC in each of their rooms to access media universally) Should I sell some computers, I wouldn't need a switch ;)
