Моду придумали лентяи. Она очень на руку тем, что стирает все исхоженные тропки, стоит лишь подождать немножко времени, - а общественная память очень коротка; и тогда уже не надо напрягаться, искать новых путей. Уже сейчас можно без зазрения совести начинать писать так: «это британская рок-группа из Ливерпуля, основанная в 1960 году», а то и полностью копировать статью из Википедии. А ведь не так давно это было «общим местом», и нужно было постараться, чтобы не написать банальность.
Однако предсказывать ничего здесь я не берусь. Возьмет и качнется маятник стихийных популярных пристрастий в сторону музыкальной волны шестидесятых… Тут, конечно, надо прибавлять «золотых», да заедают эти клавиши от частого употребления… Все возьмут, отпустят волосы так, чтобы закрывали уши, и запоют «All you need is love – all together now!».
В минувшую субботу в луганском клубе «Донбасс», ближе к концу вечерники под названием «Beatles-party», я слышал, как одна из идейных вдохновителей мероприятия говорила одному из организаторов, не без доли иронического пафоса, конечно: «Макс, посмотри на все это! Теперь я понимаю, что мы жили не зря!».
Все помещение клуба было заполнено молодыми людьми – больше, чем на любом другом вечере. Не то, чтобы яблоку негде было упасть, но близко к этому. Причем именно молодыми. «Старые битломаны» не подтянулись. И не потому, что их нет – в «ретроспективном разрезе» таких пруд пруди, а некоторые экзотические экземпляры вполне могут здравствовать и по сей день: я знаю парочку таких. Может, не отнеслись к мероприятию всерьез? Или решили, что «не стоит бередить воспоминаний»? А может, просто были не в курсе или стали слишком тяжелы на подъем…
Зато можно сказать, что подтянулся весь бомонд. Были и завсегдатаи клуба (у «Донбасса» много завсегдатаев, потому что больше в Луганске «активному народу» ходить некуда), тусовщики всех мастей: от растаманов до киберготов, музыканты, эрудиты, даже один или два правозащитника. Журналистов не было видно, но их, как что-то интересное, никогда не увидишь.
Вечер начался просмотром фильма «Hard day’s night». Фильм, конечно, культовый, но его показ был тактическим просчетом, потому хотелось или общаться, или резвиться, а никак не сидеть и не вникать. Может, надо было показать вне программы, объявив время фильма – отдельно, а «пати» - отдельно.
Но вот, фильм удалось, наконец, пережить в прогулках по соседним улицам и на курилке у входа в «Донбасс». Началась музыкальная программа.
«Никогда не думала, что Битлз можно настолько уныло исполнять!», - удивлялась моя соседка во время выступления группы №1 - «The Dreaming Band». Вообще, можно их называть просто «группа №1», потому что все равно она не запомнилась аудитории ничем, кроме беспримерно тусклого звучания и вокалиста, поющего английские слова на русском языке – ну, не поющего, конечно, а протяжно и немузыкально произносящего. Зато можно отметить наличие у них хорошего гармониста, с губной гармоникой.
«Вторая группа», название которой не более ценно для нас, чем первой, выгодно отличалась симпатичной вокалисткой и тем, что ее вокала не было слышно. Получался инструментал, под который можно было бы петь в зале и танцевать – если бы он не был таким же унылым, как первая группа в целом.
Зато могу с удовлетворением «объявить» вышедшую на смену группу «Nowhere Man & Nowhere Band». Здесь у вокалиста был профессионализм, а этого уже достаточно, чтобы такой замечательный музыкальный материал прозвучал. Вдобавок, группа предъявила настоящего «ситариста», т.е. музыканта с ситаром, любимым инструментом Джорджа Харрисона, который он по мере возможности пропихивал в аранжировки хотя бы одной песни на альбоме «Битлз». Я уж было думал – не специально ли для «Битлз-пати» прибыл инструмент? Оказалось, нет, но это простительно.
«Nowhere Band» добавила к скольки-то там тысячам известных каверов на песню «Yesterday» еще одну свою, с двумя блок-флейтами – сопрано и тенором.
Под «Назад в СССР» танцевали все, даже весь вечер флегматичный звукореж вдруг оживился и исполнил несколько головоломных кренделей!
… А публика все время была в равномерно хорошем настроении, которое, казалось, ничто не может испортить. Может, самого по себе имени «Битлз» было достаточно для того, чтобы объединить и воодушевить «такое количество таких разных людей». Удалась музыкальная программа, и конкурсы – «Угадай мелодию», и танцевальный конкурс, и остальные... Главное, было весело – а этого, бывает, не может обеспечить никакое самое блестящее выступление.
Идеологи и организаторы вечеринки взяли на ее время имена персонажей песен «Битлз».
Ведущий – Денис «Mr.Kite» был ключевой фигурой – ведь «шоу сегодня ночью» проходило именно «for the benefit of mr.Kite», так сказать, в его честь. В интервью он уточнил утверждение «Битлз – наше все». «Битлз – это нечто, – сказал он, – давшее жизнь многому другому, тому, что можно назвать «наше все»».
«Битлз – это же наши простые советские парни из Ливерпуля!», - сказала идеолог Лена «Another girl», т.е. ДРУГАЯ девушка – не тот филолог и эрудит, которого мы знаем.

В принципе, много их – персонажей Битлз, думаю, для всех собравшихся хватило бы. Еще можно было «разобрать» все лица с обложки «Sgt. Pepper's» и превратить «Донбасс» на один вечер в «Клуб одиноких сердец»… И этой идее не помешала бы неподготовленность публики; за все время целенаправленных поисков среди посетителей таких, которые ни разу не слышали «Битлов», никого не нашел. Может, некоторые просто притворялись. По крайней мере, даже девушка, указанная мне как стопроцентный «первопроходец», на вопрос: «Когда вы познакомились с музыкой «Beatles»?». Отвечала: «Довольно давно!». Но в том, что ее удовольствие от вечера было неподдельным, не сомневаюсь.
Хотя, может быть, для настоящей битломании прошло еще слишком мало времени. Еще не успела затянуться рана, нанесенная тем, что утверждение про «All you need is love», как ни глубоко в него все поверили, ничего не принесло. Пока целое поколение распевало это, пути развития истории потихоньку направляли те, кому больше нравилась другая, тихая и жалобная такая песня; в моем советском сборнике она переведена так (была тогда мода давать ноты английской песни и текст – на русском): «Ты никогда не даешь мне свои де-еньги… Ты только даешь мне свои смешны-е бумажки». Но (как хорошо, что это УЖЕ не банальность), как говорится… Желтая субмарина не затонула, она только легла на дно, и кто знает, где и как она всплывет.
