В то же время продуктовые супермаркеты «Абсолют», «Лелека», «Семейный», «Spar», «Мандарин», «Metro» не только не делают шагов в сторону решения проблемы перегруженности мусорных полигонов, но и усугубляют ее, ежедневно производя сотни килограммов полиэтиленовой упаковки.
Общественное движение «Екологічна варта» уже неоднократно поднимала данный вопрос в Луганске, но, если перефразировать классику, «упаковка и ныне там». Выходом из этой ситуации я вижу только применение к луганским супермаркетам конкретных мер воздействия. В марте 2013 года наши активисты начнут проводить комплексное исследование вышеназванных супермаркетов. Каждая торговая сеть будет оценена по следующим критериям:
- борется ли сеть с лишней упаковкой;
- навязывает бесплатные пластиковые пакеты или приучает покупателей приносить с собой многоразовые сумки;
- принимает тару и упаковку на переработку или продает товары в экономичных упаковках большого объема.
Сразу предвижу скептицизм многих, кто считает, что это пустая трата времени или вопросы «Почему (зачем) вы делаете это?». Ответ простой, а почему ВЫ не делаете этого. Давайте нести ответственность за превращение области в одну большую свалку вместе.
На основе нашего исследования будет создан 1 в Луганской области ежемесячный рейтинг «экологических» супермаркетов. В рейтинге будет видно, какие торговые сети готовы идти на встречу экологии Луганщины, а кто продолжает зарабатывать деньги на дальнейшем загрязнении нашего с вами дома. Отмечу также тот факт, что к «штрафникам» нашего рейтинга будут применены конкретные меры в виде акций протестов возле данных торговых сетей и
P.S. Требования «Екологічної варти» к местным супермаркетам остаются неизменными:
- Отказаться от практики упаковывания сумок покупателей в пластиковую пленку на входе в гипермаркеты;
- Отказаться от дополнительного упаковывания товаров в одноразовые полиэтиленовые пакеты, если покупатель этого не просит;
- В качестве альтернативы полиэтиленовым пакетам предоставить покупателям возможность приобретать многоразовые сумки или коробки для упаковывания покупок, произведенные из вторичного сырья;
- Ввести систему скидок и бонусов для покупателей, использующих многоразовые сумки или многоразовую тару для развесных продуктов;
- Сформировать в магазинах отделы с товарами в экологичной упаковке и товарами, изготовленными из вторичного сырья;
- Организовать на территориях, прилегающих к гипермаркетам, систему раздельного сбора отходов.
