В центре Луганска появится святой источник

Святой источник будет действовать на территории храма в честь Иконы Божией Матери «Умиление» в центре Луганска. Об этом 17 сентября на пресс-конференции рассказал настоятель храма отец Александр, передаёт корреспондент «ОстроВ Лугань».

«На территории храма будет святой источник. Пробивается артезианская скважина, потом её освятят и дадут имя источнику. Каждый желающий сможет набрать здесь чистой воды», - сообщил отец Александр.

Напомним, строительство Храма в честь Иконы Божией Матери «Умиление» в центре Луганска началось летом 2011 г. Освещено место строительство храма было дважды: первый раз - Митрополитом Луганским и Алчевским Иоанникием, второй раз – Патриархом Московским и всея Руси Кириллом во время его визита в Луганск 15 сентября 2011 г.

Согласно существующему проекту строительства храма в честь Иконы Божьей Матери, общее пространство храма будет разделено на два уровня, службы можно будет вести на обоих. Во время больших православных праздников при открытом притворе с балконом храм сможет принять сразу около 1,5 тысяч верующих. На культовой постройке будут установлены витражи: со стороны ул. Советской с изображением Пресвятой Богородицы «Умиление», а с другой – образ Преподобного Серафима Саровского.
