Луганчане покорили две вершины Приэльбрусья. Назовут в честь Молодой гвардии

Восхождение на две безымянные вершины совершили луганчане в честь 70-летия Молодой гвардии. Об этом 22 октября на пресс-конференции рассказал руководитель экспедиции, председатель Луганской областной федерации спортивного туризма Виктор Савостиков, передаёт корреспондент «ОстроВ Лугань».

«Мы взошли на две безымянные вершины. Это вершины в районе Приэльбрусья – 3811 м и 3808 м. Первую вершину мы назвали Пик 70-летия Молодой гвардии, вторую – Пик краснодонцев», - рассказал В. Савостиков.

Сейчас, по его словам, поданы документы в соответствующие органы для присвоения этих имён вершинам.

«Подход был сложным. Между восхождениями нам приходилось пережидать непогоду в палатках. Была пурга, снег шёл… 19 августа мы совершили первое восхождения, потом жили 3 дня в палатках, пережидая непогоду. На Пик 70-летия Молодой гвардии мы начали восхождение 21 августа, а 25 августа мы взошли на Западную вершину Эльбруса. Всего экспедиция длилась 12 дней», - рассказал он.

Планировалось, что в экспедиции примут участие около 50-ти человек, однако, как отметил В. Савостиков, из-за недостаточного финансирования восхождение совершила 8 человек за собственные средства.

В. Савостиков также сообщил, что по результатам экспедиции планируется создать альбом с фотографиями и передать его в краснодонский музей «Молодая гвардия».
