Возрождённая Луганская областная Федерация бокса получила имя Эдуарда Дидоренко. Об этом со ссылкой на пресс-службу Луганского государственного университета внутренних дел имени Э. А. Дидоренко сообщает пресс-служба МВД Украины.
Боксеры, тренеры Луганска и области решили возродить областную Федерацию, которая в последнее время находилась в упадке. Возглавил возрожденную Федерацию бокса Роман Трошин - бывший боксер и кикбоксер, последние 4 года возглавлял федерацию кикбоксинга Донецкой области, которая и сейчас занимает первое командное место во всеукраинском рейтинге.
«За последние четыре года бокс в Луганской области упал практически до нуля, сейчас мы занимаем предпоследнее место среди всех регионов. Однако мы приложим максимум усилий, чтобы уже в этом году попасть внутрь линейной таблицы и ближе к Олимпийским играм вновь занять лидирующие позиции во всеукраинском рейтинге. Наша цель номер один - чтобы на следующие Олимпийские игры в составе национальной сборной поехали минимум один-два боксера от Луганщины», - сказал президент областной Федерации бокса Роман Трошин.
Возрожденная Федерация бокса по инициативе нового президента получила имя Эдуарда Дидоренко, которые известен тем, что основал и возглавил луганский милицейский университет и активно участвовал в развитии бокса в Луганской области. Он занимал должность президента областной Федерации около 8 лет.
«О заслугах Эдуарда Алексеевича перед боксерами Луганщины я знаю не понаслышке, - отметил Р. Трошин. - Я стал призером чемпионата мира по боксу именно тогда, когда Федерацию возглавлял Эдуард Алексеевич и знаю лично, как он заботился о спортсменах, не жалея ни своего времени, ни сил».
В планах возрожденной федерации командировать своих спортсменов на различные курсы и мастер-классы, расширять тренерский состав федерации.
Новая команда уже начала делать первые шаги на пути к осуществлению поставленных задач. В частности, в г. Старобельске с 17 по 27 января силами и средствами луганской федерации проведено собрание для боксеров, не только для бойцов, но и тренеров и судей. В планах нового руководства федерации также реставрация спортивных залов и строительство в Луганске арены для проведения соревнований по боксу.
