Некоторые считают вопрос о «натиске» на русский язык в Украине неуместным, надуманным и искусственно раздуваемым. Не происходит, мол, никакой украинизации, и все разговоры об этом – политические спекуляции тех сил, которые не могут заинтересовать избирателя ничем конструктивным.
Вот и на шустеровской «Свободе» Арсений Яценюк недавно мастерски отфутболил соответствующий вопрос. Русский язык, дескать, единственный, права которого оговариваются в Конституции Украины, никто его не ущемляет, и вообще, в условиях кризиса не о том надо думать.
Буквально на следующий день после «Свободы» на TBI демонстрировали экранизацию гоголевского «Ревизора». Фильм транслировался с титрами на украинском языке. Как положено.
Смело можно сказать, что вершиной юмора в бессмертной комедии оказались именно эти титры. Например, Тряпичкин, которому пишет письмо Хлестаков, превратился в «Перепичкина». Либералы, которых клянёт Городничий в финале пьесы («у, щелкопёры, либералы проклятые!»), превратились в «генералов проклятых» и т. д.
А вот настоящий перл переводческого мастерства: у Николая Гоголя Хлестаков, волочась за женой Городничего, говорит: «Мы удалимся под сень струй». В титрах же шел перевод: «Mи пiдемо за сiм джерел».
Объясняю для непонятливых: «удалиться под сень струй», - это штамп тогдашней сентименталистской и романтической литературы, это стереотип тогдашнего «высокого стиля». В общем, когда тогдашний кавалер хотел сказать даме что-нибудь «красивое» и ни к чему не обязывающее, он говорил: «Удалимся под сень струй».
В современном донжуанском лексиконе этому примерно будет соответствовать: «поедем в номера» или «увезу за сто морей». Причём комический эффект здесь усиливается в том случае, если кавалер, предлагающий увезти за сто морей, при этом не способен за шампанское расплатиться. Именно таков Хлестаков. То есть, «удалимся под сень струй» в пьесе Гоголя – важная речевая характеристика, призванная ещё раз подчеркнуть, что Хлестаков – пустомеля. А согласно титрам телеканала получается, что Хлестаков с женой Городничего собираются пойти куда-то за семь источников.
В общем, впору писать комедию «Переводчик», а ещё лучше: «Титрователь». Да что там «титрователь» - это полный «титровец»!
Много уже говорилось о нецелесообразности титрования всем понятной русской классики кинематографа и русской классики вообще. Неумелое титрование ничего, кроме вреда не принесёт. «Пiдемо за сiм джерел» - это воспринимается как издевательство над Гоголем. И это воспринимается именно как «натиск» на русский язык и ущемление русскоязычных.
Хотелось бы пояснить: я высоко ценю достижения украинской литературы и украинской культуры в целом. Более того: я считаю, что следует активнее и квалифицированнее пропагандировать достижения украинской культуры на востоке Украины. Например, было бы разумно более широко информировать восток Украины о творчестве выдающихся современных украиноязычных украинских писателей. Я вообще за мир и дружбу между «всеми языками» современной Украины. Но это предполагает тонкую и умную языковую политику. В этих вопросах малейший перегиб даст обратный эффект.
Эх, хотелось бы, конечно, удалиться под сень струй, да украинские политики не дадут.
