ДОНБАСС – ГАЛИЧИНА: ЗЕРКАЛА РЕГИОНАЛЬНЫХ СОЗНАНИЙ. (СТАТЬЯ 2)
Превратилась ли существующая совокупность образов, характеризующая сегодняшний облик Украины, в мощную символическую формацию? Восприняты ли эти образы населением? Какую роль они играют в повседневной жизни людей?
На эти вопросы попытались ответить луганский Центр по изучению общественных процессов и проблем гуманизма, Луганский национальный университет им. Т.Шевченко, Дрогобычский государственный педагогический университет им. И.Франко и Национальный университет «Львовская политехника» в исследовании«Украина: образы регионов и межрегиональные отношения».
Образ страны
В общественной и личной жизни людей большую и, к сожалению, плохо изученную роль играют образы пространств, в которых мы живем. Мы представляем свою квартиру, ассоциируя его с уютом и защищенностью, вспоминаем свой двор или квартал, как ближайшее внешнее пространство, связывая его с друзьями и знакомыми, с сетями ближайших контактов.
Мы можем увидеть город, поселок и село с какой-то высокой точки. Однако люди могут входить в общности, которые для них значимы, но которые невозможно непосредственно увидеть. Это касается этноса, нации, класса, страны. (Последнее играет очень большую роль).
Соотнося себя со страной, человек делает своей личной её историю, культуру, успехи и достижения своей страны, её недостатки и проигрыши. Через соотнесение себя со своей страной человек определенным образом занимает позицию в современном мире. Нередко ему кажется, что его страна занимает центральные позиции на планете. (Достаточно вспомнить американские кинокартины: если на землю высаживаются инопланетяне, то они обязательно высаживаются на территории США).
В ином случае, когда человек чувствует, что его страна занимает в мире периферийные позиции, то формируется чувство или протеста, или бесперспективности. Сказанного достаточно, чтобы сделать вывод, что образ своей страны является важным элементом человеческой идентичности.
Культурный пласт, как образ страны
Каков же он, образ современной Украины?
Первое, что имеет непосредственное отношение к формированию образа страны, - географическая карта. Действительно, в Новое время карта стала универсальным образом пространства. (Карта является продуктом западной культуры, и до сих пор все наши карты используют проекцию Герхарда Меркатора, жившего в 1512 – 1594 гг. Согласно ей север находиться сверху, юг – снизу. С космической позиции это совершенно бессмысленно: в космосе нет ни верха, ни низа. Но символическое расположение вверху закрепляет за севером некое доминирующее, привилегированное положение).
Карта Украины как образ постоянно демонстрируется её гражданам. Это, например, происходит в программах новостей по телевидению. Когда показывают прогноз погоды, его озвучивают по регионам, визуализируя на карте. Картографический образ страны используют и в практике рекламы, что формирует у граждан четкий образ «своей страны», который предполагает, в частности, узнаваемый абрис границ, позиционирующий страну в отношениях с соседями, ее внутреннее «устройство», структурируемой административными единицами.
Между тем, географическая карта – это достаточно абстрактный образ. Для соотнесения со страной людям его недостаточно. Ведь такое понятие как патриотизм – чувство теплое, интимное. Оно питается связью истории своей семьи с историей страны. Оно предполагает поэтизацию её ландшафтов. Кроме того, оно предполагает персонификацию своей страны с какими-то выдающимися личностями, которые являются для других образцами, моральными авторитетами.
Современный российский исследователь Дмитрий Замятин вполне справедливо написал о географических образах следующее: «В общем смысле географические образы – это совокупность ярких, характерных сосредоточенных знаков, символов, ключевых представлений, описывающих какие-либо реальные пространства (территории, местности, регионы, страны, ландшафты и т.д.)».
Поэтому в каждой современной культуре есть пласт, связанный с образом страны. Не будем ходить далеко: мощная образная система, например, создана в русской культуре. То же самое можно сказать о культурах немецкой, французской, американской и т.д. Наверное, мощь этого культурного слоя, его воспринятость на уровне населения может свидетельствовать об успешности национального проекта.
Излишне говорить, насколько это важно для Украины. В украинской культуре тоже есть символический слой, связанный с образами страны. В элитарной культуре он довольно развит. Но в массовой украинской культуре этот слой пока не является самодостаточным и, что хуже, способным удовлетворить все современные потребности общественной жизни. Особенно негативно на этот образный слой повлияло представление Украины как страны-жертвы. Даже творчество Т. Шевченко часто прочитывают исключительно через призму концепции жертвы. Творчество поэта, между тем, достаточно разнообразно и может быть истолковано более жизнеутверждающе. Сказанное относится и к трагической теме Голодомора. Её нужно помнить, но нельзя, чтобы вся нация ежедневно и ежечасно медитативно всматривалась в жуткую бездну. Представление Украины как страны-жертвы способствует возникновению разнообразных социопатий. Патриотизму нужны победы, а не сплошные поражения и враги.
На особое внимание заслуживает слой культуры, который через школьное образование превращается в нормативный. Приведу один пример: географическими образами насыщено творчество классика украинской литературы Максима Рыльского. (В его творчестве особенно много пространственных образов и ассоциаций). В 1938 г. М.Рыльский написал стихотворение «Україна». Образ Украины здесь конструируется через противопоставление прошлого и настоящего. С одной стороны: «Лежать віки, покриті пилом». А с другой стороны: «Встає в селі, встає у місті нова людина. Гордий вік вінчає слово: більшовик». Образ формируется исключительно идеологический и не самодостаточный, более того, не самостоятельный. Безусловно, выдающийся поэт создал и другие образы. В 1941 г., в самом начале войны, он написал:«Україно моя! Чисті хвилі ланів, променисті міста, голубінь легкокрила!» (Это сейчас звучит как пафосное описание современной государственной символики). Положение с нашей образной системой осталось примерно на этом уровне. Мы колеблемся между жуткой чернотой трагедии и невероятной красотой синего неба и желтых полей пшеницы. Людям для жизни нужны нюансы, полутона.
Что же усвоило население из существующего запаса культурных образов? Превратилась ли существующая совокупность образов Украины в мощную символическую формацию? Какую роль играют эти образы в повседневной жизни людей сегодня ? На эти вопросы мы пытались дать ответ в нашем исследовании, срезая «пласты» информации методом фокусированных групповых интервью (ФГИ). Надеюсь, что представление результата дискуссий станет одной из реплик в диалоге Донбасса и Галичины, Востока и Запада Украины.
«Внутренний» образ Украины: деление на регионы
Какие же образы действуют в актуальной культуре людей, в их повседневной жизни?
В силу специфики задач исследования главное внимание было сосредоточено на «внутреннем» образе страны. Имею в виду представление граждан Украины о её частях и соотношении между ними. Такие образы не формируются чисто эмоционально. Для возникновения подобных географических образов необходим соответствующий понятийный аппарат. Его центральным понятием является понятие «регион». В ходе фокусированных групповых интервью (ФГИ) был поставлен вопрос, как респонденты понимают слово «регион» и какие регионы они могут выделить в Украине.
«Регіон - це певне об’єднання території за певними ознаками. Культурні, етнічні. Потім може бути навіть певний регіон, який там добуває вугілля, нафту чи газ, чи наприклад якусь там руду, чи золото та якісь там алмази. Це має об’єднати великі території». (К.І.М., студентський активіст, Дрогобич, 21.11.2008 р.). Один участник фокус-группы заявил: «Скільки ознак, стільки і регіонів. Не можна ставити якесь там число».(М.Д.М., студент, Дрогобич, 21.11.2008 р.).
«Регион - это скорее даже не территория, а население, имеющее специфические особенности. Это могут быть какие-то национальные особенности, языковые. Как вот говорят про Украину: Западный регион, Восточный, Южный. Я сейчас не говорю о политическом разделении регионов. То есть, по-моему представлению, это какие-то группы населения, территориально расположенные в Украине» (М.А.Ю., пастор, Луганск, 25 04.2008 г.). Автор данного высказывания связывает регион с особой общностью людей, что близко к современному научному его пониманию.Однако подобные высказывания встречались крайне редко. Большинство респондентов, даже понимая необходимость комплексного подхода к определению региона, определяют его чисто территориально, как некую объективную характеристику местности.
«Регион – это отдельная территория с определенной промышленностью, со своим жизненным укладом, своими хозяйственными структурами. Даже можно сказать со своим менталитетом». (К.Е.М., продавец в супермаркете, Стаханов, 13.05.2008 г.). «Регионы, в моем понимании, - определенная часть территории, которая объединена общими проблемами, экономикой, культурой». (М.Ю.О., учитель, Стаханов, 13.05.2008 г.).
Людям сложно соотнести регион как результат социальной самоорганизации и область как искусственно созданную административную единицу. «На побутовому рівні частіше під регіоном розуміють утворення трошки більше ніж область. Скажімо, в Україні можна виділити Північ, Південь, Захід, Схід, Центр, ну і як окремий регіон, може, Крим. Я думаю, що територію з спільними ознаками за природними умовами, і за населенням, і що об’єднує кілька областей і називають регіоном».(В.Ю.В., викладач університету,Львів, 20.11.2008 р.). «Якщо дивитися в межах держави на регіон, то він значно більший за область, якщо дивитися в межах області однієї, то - значно менший».(П.О., начальник відділу міськвиконкому, Дрогобич, 21.11.2008 р.).
Все же интуитивно большинство склоняются к тому, что регион больше области.«Кілька областей - то є регіон великий». (Х.М.В., водій, депутат сільської ради, с. Нижній Лужок, 21.11.2008 р.). «Дійсно, регіон - це може бути більше ніж область, більше, ніж кілька областей. От Львівська, Тернопільська, Івана-Франківська. Ми святкуємо однакові свята, у нас є схожий діалект, у нас є страви схожі, ну багато спільного. Історія, просто історія». (Т.Б.І., директор школи, Львів, 20.11.2008 р.). Часто регион респонденты рассматривают, так сказать, как пространственный осадок времени. Региональную структуру страны связывают с различной историей её частей, более того, с прошлым вхождение этих частей Украины в различные государства. Получается, что региональная система Украины – продукт внешних действующих сил. Увы, сейчас это общее место даже в научных публикациях. «Исторически сложилось, что Украина состоит из двух частей. Это - Западня и Восточная. Западня, это, помним, бывшая Австро-Венгрия. А восточная - это часть России. Кого куда тенет, кто кому ближе. Нам ближе, в общем-то, Россия, потому что мы когда-то были в России. Так же? Каждого тянет к своему, к родному. Я считаю, что всё дело в истории. Хотя я слышала, что западные украинцы очень добрые люди, гостеприимные, не хуже наших. Но вот исторические ценности у нас разные. Я считаю, что всё дело в этом». (В.А.Г., библиотекарь, с. Пархоменко, 23.04.2008 г.). «Мне кажется, что Украину надо поделить на такие региональные структуры по историческому значению как западная, центральная, восточная и южная часть. Почему? Потому, что каждая из этих частей побывала в разных государственных образованиях. Принадлежала к разным государствам. Этим обуславливается очень большие отличия между тем же Западом и Востоком, Югом страны. И Центральная часть. А по поводу того, что можно разделить языковым способом, я не считаю это проблемой. Почему? Потому, что заехав к нам в глубинку Луганской области можно вполне услышать настоящую украинскую речь, а во Львове и в том же Киеве спокойно говорят на русском языке и не стыдятся этого». (Г.С.А., студентка, Луганск, 25 04.2008 г.).«Якщо традиційно Східна Україна була більше під впливом Росії, то відповідно там і культура, і менталітет народу більше тяжіють до російського народу. Якщо, наприклад, от у нас це було більше до Польщі, то відповідно в нас була більше західна культура. Нас тягло більше до західної культури. Власне, це так само може ділити країну на регіони».(К.В.І., викладач університету, Львів, 20.11.2008 р.).
Разделение на регионы – под подозрением?
У части респондентов регион как понятие оказывается под подозрением.
В этом случае деление на регионы связывается с политическим разделением и с политическими манипуляциями, которые проделывает над страной её правящий класс.
«Несколько лет назад это было территориальное разделение, а теперь происходящее ассоциируется с политическими разногласиями». (Л.А.А., домохозяйка, Стаханов, 13.05.2008 г.). «Меня как женщину чисто эмоционально напрягает слово «регионы». Я чувствую опять-таки надуманное ( разделении – авт.)е: это моя тарелка, это – ваша. Это ваш регион, это – наш». (С.Л.М., учитель,Стаханов, 13.05.2008 г.).«Мені не це слово «регіони», як кажуть, до душі, тому що десь переплітається з «автономією», «землею». Так, як це республіка Німеччина має, розумієте? Тому у зв’язку з тим, що наша держава є унітарною, тому це десь не зовсім так». (В.Б.В., депутат міськради,Дрогобич, 21.11.2008 р.).
Люди и в Донбассе, и в Галичине высказывают желание «быть независимыми от политического контекста восприятия своей страны».
«Я б не ділив на регіони. Я би їх поділив чисто географічно.. Моя думка - є північ, південь єдиної України, яка в нас є. Схід і захід. Це чисто географічно». (В.І.Г., менеджер, Львів, 20.11.2008 р.). «Є поняття, наприклад, політичного регіону. Може бути політичний певний простір. Ну, я би його чомусь розділила просто на дві частини. Це є, дійсно, Схід і Захід. Якщо брати політично. Є економічні регіони. Тут вже можна, навіть, компактніше їх поділити. Навіть до якихось тих вугільних басейнів». (Т.Л.М., вчитель, Львів, 20.11.2008 р.). Но в конечном итоге именно политический контекст задает рамки восприятия регионального деления. «Разделение между регионами существует в плане политики. Допустим, Партия регионов ведет свою политику к тому, чтобы дружить с Россией. Есть часть людей, которые хотят в Украине быть независимыми от России. И есть также партии, стремящиеся к независимости от России. Ищут другие экономические источники. В Донбассе большинство людей хотят дружить с Россией. Только поэтому и существуют различия. Вся суть в политиках, в политических партиях». (Л.М.О.,бригадир строителей, Луганск, 25 04.2008 г.).«Після Помаранчевої революції для мене чомусь, коли говориться про регіон, зразу навалюється ця картинка, де показано скільки хто за кого голосував. Україна отак от чисто ділилась по Дніпру на Правобережну і Лівобережну. І ніби два регіони - Західний і Східний».(М.К.Ю., студентка, Львів, 20.11.2008 р.). Некоторые респонденты подчеркивали подвижность регионального деления, его зависимость от исхода текущих политических событий. «В 2004 году произошел водораздел в нашей современной истории. Эти выборы сыграли очень важную роль в расчленении, разделении, противостоянии разных регионов нашей страны. Именно после 2004 года эта граница сместилась сюда, восточнее, до самого Днепра». (М.С.В., завскладом на частном предприятии, Луганск,19 04.2008 г.).
Небезынтересно, что респонденты привязывают особенности регионального деления страны к тому, с какими странами граничат те или иные части Украины. (Получается, что внешний фактор вновь является определяющим во внутреннем устройстве нашей страны).
«Ще про ментальність регіонів. Він, як на мене, залежить від того, з ким межує той чи інший регіон. От беремо західну частину і маємо кордони з Польщею, Угорщиною, Румунією. Південь у нас - там море. Відчутного пограничного спілкування не дуже має. Східна частинка. Ми маємо з ким кордони? Тільки Росія, так? Мені здається оце пограниччя, кордони дають оті точки, які політики використовують».(П.О., начальник відділу міськвиконкому, Дрогобич, 21.11.2008 р.).
В качестве предварительного итога можно сказать, что в общественном сознании жителей и Донбасса, и Галичины образ страны является достаточно нечетким. У людей недостает понятийных инструментов для осмысления внутреннего устройства страны. Понятие региона характеризуется крайней нечеткостью. Оно плывущее, мерцающее, изменчивое. После 2004 г. регион связывается с политической борьбой, с поддержкой различных политических сил. Сама региональная система Украины её жителям видится, прежде всего, как дуальная структура. Центр страны не воспринимается как твердый материк, скрепляющий окраины. Как выразился один респондент «Центр до кожного регіону, а не як окремий регіон. Він є особливий тим, що там якби вінегрет».(М.Д.М., студент, Дрогобич, 21.11.2008 р.). В качестве двух важнейших частей страны видятся обобщенные Запад и Восток. Украина представляется структурой из двух половинок, расположенных по разные стороны Днепра. Различия между регионами нашими респондентами чаще всего объяснялись внешними историческими влияниями. И в настоящий момент наибольшей определенностью характеризуются пограничные регионы страны. Такое состояние образной системы Украины нужно признать крайне тревожным, даже опасным. Оно является свидетельством проблем в становлении современной политической нации Украины.
Кроме того, можно утверждать, что в целом понятие «регион», получившее широкое распространение в научных и журналистских публикациях, для большинства наших граждан является плохо освоенным, являясь «понятием с нечетким объемом и содержанием». Более того, участники ФГИ утверждали, что регионы можно выделять на основе использования разных критериев. В этом случае региональная система страны будет «плывущей», постоянно меняющейся.
Более детальный анализ предполагает переход к анализу «зеркальных» отражений жителями регионов самих себя и жителей полюсного региона. Может быть, анализ восприятия Донбассом Галичины и Галичиной Донбасса даст ключ к пониманию возможного будущего развития нашей страны.
