презентация геологического музея в ЛНУ
Презентация Геологического музея Луганского национального университета им. Тараса Шевченко. сегодня , 27 декабря, состоится в 11-00.Об этом сообщает пресс-служба вуза.
В коллекции музея – это образцы руд, минералов и горных пород, которые собирались учеными-геологами с 1950 года. Среди экспонатов есть уникальные для Украины и России образцы., в том числе, отпечаток большой стрекозы каменноугольного периода, аналогов которому нет в музеях нашей страны и РФ.
«Геологический музей – это научно-исследовательское, учебно-воспитательное и культурно-просветительское подразделение, - объяснил заведующий кафедрой географии ЛНУ профессор Николай Удовиченко. – Цель работы музея – сбор, обработка и экспонирование геологического материала. Также мы проводим геологические исследования, учебную и общеобразовательную работу со студентами, школьниками, взрослым населением города и области».
Музей имеет два отдела: «Минералы, руды и горные породы» и «Геологическая история Донбасса».
«Экспозиция первого отдела начинается с самых важных в народном хозяйстве руд. Далее показаны формы нахождения минералов в природе: отдельные кристаллы и минеральные агрегаты. В следующей части можно увидеть образцы минералов и горных пород в систематической последовательности», - рассказал Николай Удовиченко.
Второй отдел музея посвящен истории геологического развития Донбасса от докембрия до четвертичного периода. «Здесь демонстрируются образцы основных горных пород, а также ископаемые остатки растений и животных. Среди них наиболее интересны отпечатки плавунов, хвощей, папоротников, остатки моллюсков, зубы акуловых рыб, кости животных времен четвертичных обледенений (оленя, мамонта, шерстистого носорога). Здесь же представлен уникальный отпечаток большой стрекозы. Отдельные витрины посвящены полезным ископаемым Донбасса и новым поступлениям в музей», - объяснил профессор Удовиченко.
