Русскость и европейскость
Создается впечатление, что киевские, львовские и вообще европейски ориентированные украинские интеллектуалы удивляются: «Почему представители восточно-украинской культурной элиты зачастую голосуют за Януковича? Неужели им нравится Янукович? Неужели они не понимают, что такое на самом деле лидер партии регионов? ».
Успокойтесь, уважаемые, мы всё прекрасно видим и понимаем. «Я вам не скажу за весь Донбасс», но я лично голосую во втором - решающем - туре президентских выборов за Януковича из-за русского языка. И немало моих друзей европейской ориентации поступают так же. Один из основных принципов электорального поведения украинского избирателя - принцип «меньшего зла» в данном случае звучит так: «По крайней мере, регионалы не будут оказывать давление на русский язык».
Мне кажется, что идеологи демократических кругов украинского общества не совсем правильно понимают остроту языкового вопроса. И они занимают ошибочную тактико-стратегическую позицию в данном вопросе. И это очень обидно, потому что цена за такую ошибку - поражение.
В чем я вижу основные черты этой досадной ошибки?
Во-первых, в замалчивании и приуменьшении важности языкового вопроса.
Я заметил: как только начинает подниматься вопрос русского языка, со стороны украиноязычных демократических (а особенно - недемократических) кругов звучит стройный хор голосов: «Да зачем вы об этом говорите! Да это вопрос, который искусственно раздувается! Да на самом деле этот вопрос - на …надцатом месте! ».
Думается, что в политике следует обращать внимание не только на то, о чем громко и настойчиво говорят, но и на то, о чем говорят неохотно и даже пытаются замолчать. В политике нередко тем пристальнее надо прислушиваться, чем тише о чем-либо говорят.
В нежелании обсуждать вопрос статуса русского языка я вижу неприятие и страх. Неприятие русскоязычности и вообще «русскости». И страх, что языковой вопрос может-таки реально расколоть Украину.
Надо преодолеть, прежде всего, этот страх. Надо понимать, что важнейшим принципом успешной социально-политической деятельности является стремление увидеть истинное положение вещей, нравится оно нам или нет. Я живу в Донбассе: мне не надо проводить социологических опросов, чтобы понять: русский язык является одной из базовых ценностей жителей региона. Вы, господа «европеисты», можете сколько угодно потрясать данными всевозможных социологических исследований, что, якобы, жителей востока совсем не волнует вопрос статуса русского языка. Но когда кандидаты от демократической оппозиции вновь получат на донбасских участках свои жалкие проценты, задумайтесь над важностью языкового вопроса.
Надо также преодолеть плохо скрытое неприятие «русскости». И здесь мы подходим ко второй существенной ошибки в мировоззрении демократических кругов украинского общества.
Мне очень хотелось бы ошибаться, но складывается впечатление, что для многих украиноязычных поклонников европейского выбора русскость тождественна авторитаризму, тоталитаризму и антиевропейскости. Об этом нигде не говорится, но создаётся впечатление, что такое мнение идеологи европейского пути пытаются внушить через подтекст.
Если это моя субъективная ошибка, я очень рад. Если это интуиция, которая отражает действительную позицию европеистов, то это очень серьезное заблуждение. Я даже назвал бы это убеждение «основным заблуждением» украинских европеистов.
Я могу поклясться на Священном Писании, что я последовательный и принципиальный сторонник европейского вектора развития Украины. Я сторонник европейских ценностей, демократических прав и свобод в их европейском понимании, гражданского общества, правового государства, среднего класса и т. п. Но я русскоязычный и русскокультурный. Русский язык никем не был мне навязан. Это мой родной язык, и я думаю на русском. Но я вовсе не сторонник русской имперскости, евразийского союза и т. п. Мое сознание вообще не имперское. И я, Боже упаси, не ностальгирую по Советскому Союзу. Если я люблю Достоевского, это вовсе не означает, что я должен любить Путина.
Справедливости ради скажу, что таких, как я, в Луганске немного, думаю, не очень много и вообще в восточной Украине. Но русскоязычные европеисты на востоке Украины есть, возможно, их не так уж и мало. И их нужно не отталкивать, а всячески поддерживать и привлекать в общий европейский поток украинского общества.
Чем же их, прежде всего, отталкивают из этого потока? Неопределенностью в отношении русского языка и русской культуры. Пожалуй, не столько отталкивают, сколько оставляют растерянными в одиночестве посреди волн «совкового» сознания.
Культурно-языковая идентичность для человека важнее геополитической идентичности. Я настаиваю на том, что можно продвигаться в Европу, будучи русскоязычным и русскокультурным. Но если окажется, что это не так? Предположим, что мне неопровержимо докажут, что европейскость и русскость - взаимоисключающие вещи, то есть, что возможно или быть русским, или продвигаться в Европу. Что я тогда выберу? Увы, русскость. Культурно-языковая идентичность является почти сокровенной сутью человека, и тот, кто покушается на культурно-языковую идентичность, в некотором смысле, покушается на самого человека. Но я снова хотел бы со всей возможной силой подчеркнуть, что альтернатива «или европейскость - или русскость» является ложной.
При обсуждении языкового вопроса со стороны украиноязычных европеистов часто можно слышать следующий тезис: «На самом деле никто в Украине русский язык не притесняет. Все разговоры об ущемлении русского языка - это искусственно раздуваемая тема ».
Я считаю, что это не совсем так, но пусть это будет так. Примем, что это так. И все равно, даже если действительно нет угрозы русскому языку, украинским партиям европейской ориентации целесообразно дать публичные гарантии ее неприкосновенности, особенно в восточных регионах. Целесообразно будет официально продекларировать свою позицию относительно неприкосновенности русского языка. Следует понять, что в действительности позиция многих представителей восточно-украинской интеллектуальной элиты относительно русского языка скорее оборонительная, чем наступательная. Они несколько опасаются ущемления русского языка, следует их просто успокоить. И тогда в решающие моменты политического поведения они без особых колебаний осуществят выбор в сторону европейскости. Политической элите умеренно националистических партий европейской ориентации следует переступить через обиду и гордость и продекларировать неприкосновенность русского языка для русскоязычных граждан Украины. Это должно быть символическим действием.
Проводники «украинскости» любят в драматически-кризисные моменты напряженного взаимодействия между востоком и западом Украины делать акцент на необходимости взаимных компромиссов. Такие компромиссы, мол, необходимы для сохранения целостности государства. И это вполне правильная и разумная позиция. Да, давайте искать компромиссы, да здравствуют компромиссы! Но хотелось бы напомнить и подчеркнуть, что компромисс является взаимной уступкой взаимодействующих сторон. Настоящий компромисс предусматривает, что сторона А поступается чем-то, возможно, для нее важным, продвигаясь в направлении стороны Б, и сторона Б поступается чем-то, возможно, для неё важным, продвигаясь в направлении стороны А. Если сторона А требует от стороны Б уступок, а сама ни в чем не согласна уступить, - какой же это компромисс! Пусть декларирование неприкосновенности русского языка будет важнейшим компромиссом со стороны умеренных партий европейской ориентации. Следует отдать русскоязычность взамен европейского выбора.

Бедуинскость как инопланетянскость, или ответ Александру Еременко.
Заехал к Александру Еременко по делам (научным), он подарил номер газеты «Свобода слова» со своей статьей «Русскость и европейскость». Хорошая статья, яркая, эмоциональная, впечатляющая, как и все, что пишет этот прекрасный автор, будь то текст научный, будь то художественный, будь то публицистический. Общий пафос этого выступления тоже понятен: А. Еременко за европейский вектор развития страны, но с сохранением своей русскоязычной и русскокультурной идентичности. И выступает он против навязывания ему и другим русскоязычным интеллектуалам, живущим в Украине, «украинскости» как чего-то весьма искусственного. Понятно, что это в значительной степени так, и что следует оказывать всяческое сопротивление тому, что я бы назвал «биологическим национализмом» - у этно-радикалов, и «шароварщиной» - у официальных специалистов по ритуалам, заменившим портрет Ленина на портрет Шевченко и оставившим все прочее по сути тем же и таким же. Но непонятен общий пафос этого памфлета, поскольку призыв к компромиссу на основе взаимных уступок звучит слишком общо, а признание в голосовании за Януковича по причине надежды на отсутствие давления на русский язык – как-то наивно.
Довольно долго я не мог понять, что же меня не устраивает в этой статье А. Еременко, тем более, что в свое время, а точнее на заре нашей независимости, отстаиванию позиции неразумности искусственного навязывания украинского языка на Донбассе сам посвятил не одно выступление на различных научных конференциях. В Луцке, например, это вызвало очень большое раздражение, особенно высказанное положение о том, что такую корявую украинизацию проводят фактически те же люди, которые в свое время проводили не менее корявую русификацию. Например, дописывали к украинским фамилиям «-ов» и «-ев» в приказном порядке. Вот и я стал Литвинов, хотя, вообще-то, настоящая фамилия – Литвин: отец как-то рассказывал, что всем вносили изменения «в метрических», и ему женщина – «майор милиции» в паспортном столе после войны дописала это «-ов». Как и множеству других. Эти же люди и многое другое делали и продолжают делать столь же коряво, безответственно и всегда некачественно. Потому-то и стала самая богатая республика СССР (вспомним листовки накануне референдума 1 декабря 1991 года) страной с самым бедным народом в Европе (с декабря 2009 года). А перспективы, при тотальном господстве потребительского и полукриминального сознания, ну совсем не радужные – и с компромиссным решением проблемы русского языка (она же – проблема языка украинского), и без такого.
А понял я следующее, что отмечаю с большим прискорбием, поскольку как-то неловко доктору наук, да еще и философских, указывать на логическую ошибку. И даже ошибки. Первая заключается в том, что уважаемый автор как синонимы, как абсолютно взаимозаменяемые понятия употребляет слова «русскость» и «русскоязычность» («подмена понятий»). Вторая, несмотря на понятную метафоричность, заключается в противопоставлении (терминологическом) части и целого, если считать все же Россию тоже частью Европы, что собственно не требует доказательств. Третья носит можно сказать «гоголевский характер», «русскими» в широком смысле называли не только «малороссов», но и всех советских (вспомним знаменитое сталинское «мы, русские…»).
Вторая и третья ошибки могут быть оспорены, и не в них дело, а вот первая является весьма серьезной, поскольку «русскость» предполагает не только «русскоязычность», но и все, что принято называть ментальностью. И здесь, пожалуй, таится та опасность, которую странным образом обходит наш уважаемый автор, даже открыто назвав ее. Ведь «русскость», которую он не хочет связывать с авторитаризмом и прочими политнегативами, не избавляется от них наличием в культуре таких гигантов, как Достоевский или Чайковский. «Русскость» проявляется прежде всего как способ бытия народа, живущего в сказочно богатой стране постоянно еле сводя концы с концами. «Русскость» - в произволе неконтролируемой власти, которая рассматривается как средство наживы, причем самое эффективное. «Русскость» - это миллионы служебных автомобилей с персональными водителями разных начальников и начальничков. Ну и, наконец, «русскость» - это тотальная коррупция и зависимость судьбы молодого человека не от его способностей, а от размера кошелька или должности его родителей. А еще это страх и безропотность. И это когда нарушая (правила, законы и т.д.), ты выигрываешь. Да, как-то, беседуя с ведущим в России специалистом по национальному юридическому менталитету профессором А. Мордовцевым, запомнил его фразу, что Россия не может существовать иначе, как империя. Это к вопросу о связи «русскости» с авторитаризмом и тоталитаризмом. Добавлю еще: великий сатирик и, к слову, логик А. Зиновьев, о своей стране сказал так: «Здесь всегда была советская власть, только она по-разному называлась», имея в виду последнюю тысячу лет.
А «европейскость» - прежде всего в чувстве человеческого достоинства и трудовой этике, результатом чего является и соответствующий уровень жизни, и президент, который ходит пешком на работу, как в Австрии, или премьер-министр, который ездит на работу на велосипеде, как в Дании (потому что почти все так ездят на работу). «Европейскость» - это один служебный автомобиль с персональным водителем, как в Швеции (у короля – для приема иностранных гостей), это государство как инструмент гражданского общества для рационального решения общих проблем. Это открытость и это улыбка, с которой тебя встречают в магазине, в гостинице или каком-либо учреждении. И это уверенность, что от тебя самого в этой жизни очень много зависит, нужно только хорошо учиться, старательно трудиться и не нарушать законы. Потому что когда нарушаешь (правила, законы и т.д.), ты проигрываешь.
Как видим, «украинскость» от «русскости» практически ничем не отличается, кроме самого языка (имею в виду сам язык, а не всяческую дежурную риторику властьпредержащих). Например, когда еду по Луганску с соблюдением правил, всегда попадаю на красный свет светофора. Превысил скорость – все в порядке, «зеленая волна». Это, наверное, некий символ нашей жизни «по-русски».
Тут, правда, все же надо кое-что акцентировать. Дело в том, что «жители Донбасса» в самом деле имеют ряд ментальных особенностей – как результат особенностей исторического развития этого края. Не буду проводить урок истории, расскажу о себе. До 19 лет, пока я не приехал учиться в Киев, вопросы национального и национальности в сознании просто отсутствовали. Друзья у меня, как и у всех, были и украинцы, и русские, и евреи, и татары, а делились все только на хороших и плохих, независимо от национальности. Уже в Киеве узнал и о буржуазных националистах как людях не из книжек, кстати, восстановил и свой родной язык – украинский, на котором разговаривал до 7 лет, до вступления в русскоязычную школу. Еще больше разницу между украинским и русским узнал во время службы в армии, побывав в российской глубинке и сравнив с глубинкой украинской. Так что здесь я однозначно за «украинскость». Но это так, к слову.
Что же касается «русскоязычности», то тут, при переводе в позитивное (в социальном смысле) русло хотя бы части ресурсов, столь беззастенчиво потребляемых частично или полностью паразитирующими структурами (преимущественно властными), результат бы не заставил себя ждать. Прежде всего - образование и здравоохранение. А в образовании – изучение языков, где бы кроме вопросов «украинскости» и «русскости», решили бы и вопросы «английскости», «немецкости», а также «китайскости» и «японскости». Как их решают сегодня для своих детей и внуков и те, кто «за украинскость», и те, кто «за русскость». Решают большей частью в свое рабочее время (оплачиваемое нами), а для возможности продолжения вот так «решать вопросы», вновь и вновь подбрасывают нам (на их языке – «электорату») накануне очередных выборов эти проверенные дразнилки. Следующая, надо полагать, НАТО? И если на них «ведутся» профессора, то что же говорить об обычных людях, особенно если более 80% их находятся (точнее – их держат) «за чертой бедности»?
А из нашей, и Вашей, уважаемый Александр Михайлович, «русскости» выхода даже не видно. Как не видно того Андреевского спуска, по которому я когда-то ходил почти каждый день почти три года подряд. Вспоминается в этой связи довольно старая уже реплика знаменитого советского космонавта Георгия Гречко. Комментируя отсутствие нормального, просто обычного порядка и элементарной культуры в нашей общей тогда «русской» стране, он сказал, что в решении этой проблемы есть два возможных варианта: реальный и фантастический. Реальный – это если прилетят инопланетяне и наведут у нас порядок, а фантастический – это если мы это сделаем сами.
Отсюда самое последнее. Как по мне, реальным вариантом для нас может стать приглашение инопланетян, извините, менеджеров из стран, где люди устроили себе жизнь по-человечески, наделив их соответствующими полномочиями. Ведь исторический опыт есть, и оценивается он однозначно положительно! А «варяги» - это шведы, финны, норвежцы и датчане. Есть еще и немцы. Можно и бедуинов из Арабских Эмиратов, кто там был, поймет, что никакой иронии. И тогда все мы будем «за бедуинскость».

As I've discussed here in the past, I've never been one for discipline. I've never needed a specific space to write or complete silence and I've never had a specific time of day to write. Maybe I'm in the office or the bedroom or the living room and maybe the television is on or the stereo is on and maybe it's morning or maybe it's evening. Never really mattered before. If I want to do 1000 words I start off just to get the first 100 out of the gate and then reward myself with a few minutes on the Internet. Then I get to 500 words and take a short break. Then the last 500 words.
